Tambourah Metals (ASX: TMB) has expanded its lithium portfolio in Western Australia Pilbara region with the purchase of 337 square kilometres of granted exploration licences from Minrex Resources (ASX: MRR). Under the terms of the acquisition, Tambourah will assume 100% ownership of six projects across the Tambourah, Shaw River and Coondina tenements for a consideration of $50,000 cash plus the issue of $100,000 in fully-paid ordinary shares. The issue price will be equal to the volume weighted average price over the last five trading days and the shares will be held on escrow for three months from issue.

Tambourah Metals (ASX: TMB) chairperson Rita Brooks joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s exploration progress at its Julimar North and Achilles projects in Western Australia. The projects are believed prospective for nickel, as well as platinum group elements, copper and gold. Julimar North is located north of Chalice Mines’ famed Julimar nickel-PGE and copper-gold discovery. An airborne geophysical survey is due to begin this month across major targets Bolgart and Wongan Hills South to assist with planning a drill program.
Gold and critical minerals explorer Tambourah Metals has identified multiple airborne gravity anomalies indicative of denser rocks that may host nickel-copper-PGE mineralisation at its Bolgart and Tolarno projects approximately 100 kilometres northeast of Perth. A follow-up ground based moving loop electromagnetic survey has now been planned to test the gravity targets located near Chalice Mining’s monster Julimar PGE-nickel-copper-cobalt project.
Gold and critical minerals explorer Tambourah Metals has confirmed gold-bearing quartz veins at its Tambourah King prospect in the Pilbara after receiving early assay results from drilling completed in March. Results include one hole going 22m at 2.83 grams per tonne gold from 22m, containing 9m at 6.46 g/t from 35m and 1m at 9.86 g/t from 39m.
Gold and nickel explorer Tambourah Metals has lined up a drill rig to follow up a series of new significant gold targets identified through geophysical surveying and a historic data review at its flagship Tambourah gold project in the Pilbara. A review of the mineralisation at Tambourah by geophysical consultants using high resolution airborne magnetic data identified three potential targets in the area with plans for a 30 RC hole campaign underway.
